When the family can no longer handle the care and needs of the loved one or if 24/7 nursing care is identified.

Hospitals are designed for patients who have medical issues that can be treated only in a hospital. Insurance companies could also stop insurance benefits when you no longer need hospital care. A nursing center can provide the continuing medical care and rehabilitation services you need while you recover from illness or injury so that you can return home as soon as possible.

We offer both long term and short term facilities.

Please leave your medications at home! We provide all of the medications for our residents/patients so we can keep detailed records for each patient/resident.

We encourage you to spend as much time with your loved one as possible– if you wish to share a meal with them please contact the main office before 10am that day.

Yes, we provide transportation to and from doctor appointments. We are also able to accept and provide care and transportation for dialysis patients.

You and your loved one should look at several facilities before making a selection. Make sure you ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable.

Medication management is a part of the initial charge for staying at the facility. Our staff will include medication management services in the care plan of your loved one upon discussion of needs.

At our facility, the daily/monthly cost includes meal service, housekeeping, room and board, and cost of care.

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8am-5pm. Family and friends are welcome to visit their loved on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  However, we request that visiting hours be between the hours of 8am-8pm so all of our residents are able to rest.  If you need to come in after these hours, we simply ask that you are as quiet as possible so as not to disturb the rest of our residents.

You may wish to consider the following:

• Approximately 7 changes of comfortable clothing.
• Approximately 7 changes of bed clothing.
• Toiletry items that you may prefer that do not have a warning labels such as “Keep out of the reach of children”.
• Pictures (Decorative or Family) for your walls to make your room more home-like.
• Favorite pillow or items of comfort they would enjoy.

Please do not bring the following items:

• Heirloom jewelry or expensive perfumes or colognes
• Large amounts of cash.  A facility trust fund is available for cash.
• Over the counter medications.
• Disinfectant chemicals.
• Heating pad
• Electric blanket
• Microwave
• Laundry hampers with holes (air tight containers with a lid are permitted)

Yes, smoking is allowed in designated areas.  All smoking materials (i.e. cigarettes, cigars, lighters, etc.) are to be kept at the Nurse’s Station so as to protect the safety of all residents.  There are designated smoking times for residents where staff will assist residents with smoking.
